Treasure

In a world of possessions and entitlements I find it useful to take time to reflect on simple and natural aspects of our lives such as our breath or the seasons.  Life is our greatest treasure and we can only value it when we shut out worldly expectations and dwell on the simplicities of just being.

The babe in the manager had his three gifts as symbols of his life.  Do we deserve any more? We don’t need to deny ourselves of technology or modern conveniences, but to really thrive we do need to be gracious stewards of the resources we have available to us and seek to use them for the greater good.  “Where your heart is. . .”

May you thrive in your desire to treasure yourself, your loved ones, and the bounteous blessings and opportunities available every day.
