Healing Holiday

Simplify and replenish are not exactly the words one thinks of this time of year.  We tend to rev up our doings and eliminate the replenishings.  Take Five Minutes to watch out the window, deep breath meditation, focused prayer, or some other mindful practice that allows you to let go of your to-do’s.  Remebering what is important to you and evaluating how enriched your life is by what is important will allow you to let go of details that inhibit your peace–a little.  We may have to drive in traffic but we can choose to sing a song or think of happy thoughts towards our fellow travelers.

I often think of the wisemen’s gifts and hope that mine are just as useful.
